Does WordPress still fall over if you try to upload a large image? I moved to CMSMadeSimple for a client because WP wouldn’t allow image changes on a large image that was uploaded (ie create different sizes etc)
Hi Edward
It really depends upon your hosting config. There is a php option which sets how big a file can be max_upload_size, I’ve uploaded huge images before and it was fine

Hi Neil
It wasn’t so much the actual file size but more the pixel count. I appreciate there’s a correlation between the two to an extent.
The file gets uploaded but the dialog pops a red error message (can’t remember exactly what it said) then the next dialog (the one with the ‘insert as thumbnail, etc etc or insert as original size) has these options greyed out. I tried to get the client to pre-process the images (off a digital camera) before uploading but this added a layer of complexity to their operation)
