I’ve Worked With These Themes In The Field
A number of my clients have used Nick’s themes on their own projects and I have spent time under the hood building child themes from them, so I know the quality of the coding is sound.
I’ve worked with Simplepress (not to be confused with the forum plugin) and Chameleon and both are very good themes, but more importantly they look great. Check out the portfolio the team at elegant themes has put together.
They have over 70 very well designed WordPress themes just waiting for our lucky readers to win.

I think premium themes have changed the face of web design because they allow people like me to create sleek powerful compliant websites for their business without paying 1000’s of dollars.
ive already purchased an elegant themes membership 🙂 BUT i would still like to leave a comment.
Elegant Themes are easy to use, even for beginners through the tutorials and accompanying documentation. In fact, my first few WP experiences were with ET, it’s where i got my foundation. And if all else fails, Nick’s support is great. he always replies promptly, even to dumb questions that you ask at 3am when you’re to tired to see the obvious answer.
I haven’t encountered browser compatibility issues and they work well with plugins. they are super customisable! in fact, you could probably use an Elegant Theme for any client, customise and tweak it a bit and they’ll be more than satisfied!
Hey Neil, thanks for providing this giveaway.
Premium themes are always preferred over free themes, as premium themes are built with theme author’s hard work and passion. Every blogger knows premium themes can provide good design, extraordinary functionality and proper coding and some excellent support. Whereas, free themes are offered with some or no support whatsoever.
It puts the creativity and functionality directly into the hands of the user. People who haven’t used wordpress, or premium themes much can (with good help documentation) create some pretty nifty looking sites and not have to pay through the nose to get there.
Premium Themes are roughly the equivalent of laser printers 25 years earlier. Back then, only large corporations had the ability to produce professionally typeset printed material, and graphics had to come from offset presses. The best that small companies and individuals could hope for was ugly dot matrix output. Then laser printers came along and nearly anyone could produce pro quality type and graphics, allowing almost anyone the ability to compete with the big boys. Premium Themes do the same thing, now nearly anyone can produce excellent, elegant websites that rival the $10k+ design products of just a few years ago. Thanks to open source WordPress and Premium Themes, the website design process has never been better, or more accessible to the masses.
Premium themes allow anyone, even novices, to get a professional looking website or blog up and running in no time, enabling them to showcase their products or services in the best possible light, without having to hire the services of a web developer and/or designer. The fact that everything can be easily customised on the front-end means that you don’t even need to go anywhere near the actual code, although that option still exists for those who wish to. Also, last, but definitely not least, premium themes already have SEO built in, so you only need to concentrate about writing quality content for your readers or customers and the theme (along with the search engines) will take care of the rest.
Premium themes mean freedom to me. I’d love to win this because I’m converting all my clients, and eventually my own site, to WordPress. They et ll the editing capabilities and I get the beautiful results that use d to take many times longer to produce. The catch to using themes is finding well-designed and reliable ones; Elegant Themes appears to do both.
One membership for rule them all, one membership to manage all websites: Elegant Themes!!!!
I believe it’s important to have an elegant and professional presentation for your site and even more important to have a secure framework on which to build themes. This is now my motive for migrating to Premium themes. One site hack was enough.
Thanks,

Premium themes in general, and premium WordPress themes in particular, have simplified, streamlined and enhanced the web site design process significantly for both professional site designers and non-professionals alike.
Premium themes have also created far greater access to the web site design process for people who have not traditionally been site design professionals. These themes have improved the overall quality, professionalism and stability of WordPress sites; and they have stimulated the growth and widespread acceptance of WordPress as a web site design platform.
In addition, there are many benefits associated with using professional WordPress themes:
(1) The wide variety of premium themes currently available provide unique and inspiring design options for a diverse range of web site applications. As illustrated in the Elegant Themes Gallery (http://www.elegantthemes.com/gallery/), site design options now include not only themes for traditional blogs and Tumblogs, but also themes specifically designed for:
` specialty apps
` businesses and eCommerce
` magazines and news publications
` multimedia sharing
` personal sites
` portfolio sites, and
` responsive mobile sites.
(2) Premium themes also provide significantly higher quality and more robust coding along with:
— easy-to-use customization options (colors, fonts, short codes, etc.) and
— a rich selection of features enabled by a wealth of optional widgets and plugins.
(3) The support and regular theme updates provided by premium theme developers have helped web site owners maintain stable, resilient sites even as Internet technologies have continued to change and develop over time.
(4) In addition, the best premium themes are SEO-enabled, and this has greatly improved the web site owner’s opportunity to reach and gain visibility with his/her target audience.
(5) The social sharing features integrated into premium themes now provide bloggers and web site owners with a variety of means for not only reaching a far larger audience than would otherwise be available. They also enable site owners and bloggers to connect and develop a sense of community with their web site visitors and fans.
(6) Finally, premium themes have enabled a significant number of people across the globe to establish an online presence and enter into the world of ecommerce and online marketing — and this has had a huge impact on today’s global economy.
Elegant themes have made it easy for non developers to build websites based on WordPress. The websites which are developed using Elegant themes are professional looking with the latest web design trends incorporated in them since the themes are regularly updated.
Further the websites built using the themes are fast loading websites which has become a pre requisite for a noticeable presence online.
The documentation that is provided with the downloads is complete and further there are forums where you can easily ask questions should you get stuck at any point of time.
Now with the 77 themes available at a price of $39 (which means each theme costs you about $0.50) there cannot be a better deal for website owners and website developers.
With the advent of the Internet and the widespread use of open-source software and the way the FOSS concept has permeated everyone’s lives, many people have unfortunately come to believe that the best things in life are free (yes, as in beer).
While it’s true that wonderful CMSs like WordPress exist without a price tag through the efforts of many, the truth is that, when it comes to themes, so many would-be designers have had at it with results that are less than stellar, their efforts duly acknowledged though, even if they offer their themes for free.
Thus the availability of something labeled “premium”, be it ice cream or a theme, leaves no doubt in the consumer’s mind that something is being offered with higher value for a commensurate price. This is a win-win for both the paying user, who can thus expect quality, and the theme creator, who, being paid for their efforts and results, must be committed to matching paid-for expectations and providing value.
This is precisely why people willingly (and happily) pay for the quality that premium themes provide.
This is a Good Thing. For all of us. And makes an already great CMS like WordPress really shine!
Best things always stand out from crowed …….Elegant Themes gives your website professional look……..If you are a developer or a beginner you can get a professional looking website just for 50 cents a theme…..plus excellent support system…….I mean come on ….what else can be better than this……
Build your dream with people who work hard.
I think premium themes have changed the face of website design because:
1) They have improved the average look and function of sites overall by providing support and updates, which IMO encourages site owners/devs to build a more complete site and also decreases site abandonment due to frustration
2) The premium theme companies/people have real resources to innovate and develop new ideas and functions in a more intentional and/or consistent way than open source or someone just creating themes on the side
3) They decrease setup time (and headaches) because they build in many popular functions, thereby eliminating many “won’t play nice with other plugins” problems
4) They provide access to professional designs for a relatively low cost, plus the maintenance/update processes are usually easy
5) They normally are better quality, more secure, and offer more easy-to-customize options for all level of coders and non-coders
I could go on …
Premium themes helps less technical savvy person to create a wonderful site, it helps the developer to create a great site within short time and some customizaion.
Thank you so much for the info on Elegant Themes. The volume of quality themes offered combined with an extremely reasonable price point is what I’ve been looking for(and hope to win:) It seems they have done their work to provide people such as myself, who have little or no knowledge of code but have a clear understanding of what they would like to create, with a valuable tool to accomplish website design with ease. Which is one of the reasons I think premium themes have changed the face of website design.
“A good painting to me has always been like a friend. It keeps me company, comforts and inspires.” Hedy Lamarr
I think a good theme should keep you company – the dialog between a theme and user needs to be friendly. Comfort should be found in knowing if you can’t figure it out help is available. And it should inspire you to push yourself and the theme to new limits of design. Elegant Themes seem to have created “a good painting” to help others create their own works of art.
Premium themes make bloggers’ life lot easier and web designers’ compensation returns lot faster.
