@clara A good move, thesis has excellent built in seo tools and it's special hook section. The only problem with thesis is it's popularity if you stick with the vanilla design you look like thousands of other blogs, a quick visit to your site has shown me you have altered the design quiet a bit - good move

I am using the Thesis premium theme. I had used several free themes, before I decided to bite the bullet and spend money on a theme.

The first premium theme I used was WP Remix. I'd seen it on another site and looked like exactly what I had in mind for the site I was creating. It turned out that it wasn't compatible with the latest version of WP (has since been updated) so I had to do a lot of hand coding - fortunately I know how, but many users might not. It was a lot of work but I am thrilled with the finished product.

More recently I used the Flexx theme from iThemes and was just amazed at its flexibility and how easy it was to configure exactly the way my client wanted it.

I'm planning to redo my business website in WP in the near future, and am torn between customizing a premium theme and designing my own from scratch.
